I read the comments at the beginning and seemed to be a substitute for my D40x Nice (which I gave to my daughter). camera when held soon, but the image quality is seriously lacking. My D40x took the pictures a bit 'better (should have been the same since they use the same sensor is a repackaged and D40x). Problem. I'm not sure, but the fuzzy softness, inconsistency and lack of detail / sharpness are not funny. I tried a lot of lenses. The software is somehow imperfect. ADR, which has contributed to the camera slows down terribly and not significantly improve image quality. (I have better pictures of my S90 compact sensor is not --- --- or small or old Pentax SLR)).
The plane was a few years ago some 'disappointing, in today's marketplace, it is unacceptable (image quality and speed). For anyone interested in video and a great value for tilting LCD, look elsewhere. Spend more and get the D5000. Better yet (and I'm a Nikon guy), get the Canon T2i.
Nikon D90 really missed one, it is not. Nor is it a Pentax KX. Sin.
